Caution! Using content on your website that exists on another website is considered “duplicate content” and may result in your website in being flagged by Google. Often times when content is flagged as duplicate content, Google will deduct that page from the overall page count of your website and this will likely harm the website’s performance. We suggest rewriting the content in your own words. If you are migrating content from your old website into your new Lucid CMS website, this guide will work for you.
The best method of migrating content from either Microsoft Word or your old website is to copy it into Notepad and then recopy it before pasting the content into your CMS. This will strip the content of any hidden formatting. Notepad can be found on any Microsoft Windows computer in Start/Programs/Accessories/. Additionally, you can select the 'Paste from Word' button and paste your context in the window that appears.
Tip: Vendor provided content is always duplicate content and should not be used on your website.
