Microsoft Outlook Express
You can configure your Microsoft Outlook Express to synchronize with Einstein Medical mail system using the instructions below:
Step 1. Start Microsoft Outlook Express application and select "Accounts..." from "Tools" menu.
Step 2. On this screen, select “Mail” tab, then click small arrow next to “Add” option and select “Mail...”.
Step 3. On this screen, enter your name (in “Display name” field) and click “Next”.
Step 4. On this screen, enter your email address (in “Email address” field) and click “Next”.
Step 5. On this screen, select “IMAP” option (from “My incoming mail server is a...” menu), enter IMAP server address (in “Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server” field), enter SMTP server address (in “Outgoing mail (SMTP) server” field), and click “Next”.
Step 6. On this screen, enter your email address (in “Account name” field), enter your password (in “Password” field), check “Remember password” checkbox, and click “Next”.
Step 7. On this screen, click “Finish” and then...
Step 8. Select "Accounts..." from "Tools" menu again.
Step 9. On this screen, select "Mail" tab, then select newly created account and click "Properties".
Step 10. On this screen, select "General" tab, enter a nickname for your account (i.e. "My Mail", in the first field under "Mail Account" as shown).
Step 11. On this screen, select "Advanced" tab, check both "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" checkboxes, enter "587" (in "Outgoing mail (SMTP)" field, unless already entered), enter "993" (in "Incoming mail (IMAP)" field, unless already entered), slide "Server Timeouts" slider to far right until it reads "Long" and "5 minutes", and click "Apply".
Step 12. On this screen, click "Finish" to complete your new mail account configuration.
