How To Add the Global Announcement Tool On Your Einstein Website

New Feature: Global Announcement

What else can you do to help your business weather the effects of COVID-19?

Stay Active

In 2008, many clients ran for the hills when the economy collapsed. The wise ones remained active, increased their visibility, and grew their practices. In our experience, clients who remain active in the face of adversity dominate their markets in the future.

Remain Accessible

Many consumers are working from home, which gives them more time to do research online, scroll through social media, or schedule that appointment they've been putting off. Check your e-mails frequently and maintain your social media profiles. When potential patients call, you want to be on the other line even if you can't serve their needs right away.

Invest in Google Ads

With Google Ads, you only pay for the ads that users are clicking on. Better yet: as competitors abandon their marketing, the cost-per-click goes down. This means you could be paying less for Google's services while increasing your online conversions and visibility.

Schedule for the Future

While some practices remain open for emergency cases, some might be forced to close altogether. However, you can help clients with non-urgent needs by booking appointments in the future. By filling up your schedule, you can hit the ground running and help your patients once the situation is more stable.

Dedicate Time to Your Marketing

We know how busy things can get when business is in full swing. Take advantage of your temporary downtime. Connect with your Einstein Account Executive or Client Success Manager. Our team members can help you think of ways to build your business from the comfort of your home.

Announce Changes to Your Services

More likely than not, your business hours or services have changed in order to support clients during the COVID-19 situation. Add a COVID-19 announcement to your homepage that clearly explains what you are doing to protect patients and staff during this time.

Don't Take Our Word for It The Data Informs Our Decisions

Like always, our team is keeping a pulse on Google trends. This important step informs our strategies and guides our clients towards worthy investments. Looking at the data, we found some interesting stats pertaining to our clients.

Dental Queries Are Up

In the past 90 days, there has been a 10 percent decrease in overall dental queries. This is not news. Each year, dental queries tend to peak in January and start to trend downward each month. However, emergency dental queries rose by 12 percent during the last week. With many dentists closed, there is a higher demand for dentists who are open for emergencies.

Medical Queries Are Up

Among medical queries, there was a tiny increase of three percent. However, medical emergency queries were up by 42 percent in the last week. Once again, we see that patients are still looking for emergency services, and they are calling doctors who can provide them.

Businesses May Be Closed, but Patients Still Have Emergency Needs

This is a call log for a client who provides support for dental emergencies. If you look closely, you can see how many calls were made in recent days from patients searching for emergency procedures. Patients are looking for help, and they are searching online for local listings and ads that meet their urgent needs.
