The DocShop Article Syndicator

Posted by: Steve Schadt | Posted under: 1-News, Industry News

The latest in a growing list of online marketing innovations from Einstein Industries, DocShop’s Article Syndicator promises to give clients a powerful voice in the highly targeted, highly competitive landscape of online patient education and acquisition. Positive results for your name and your business are a surefire way to displace negative results on the search engines. Negative commentary can come from competitors, patients…anyone publishing online. As online marketing becomes more competitive, gaining white hat links from powerful sites such as DocShop is becoming increasingly difficult.

Fill out the form below or call 866.392.7388 to get started today.

FROM PRWEB: San Diego, California (PRWEB) July 29, 2009 – Einstein Industries’ latest development on DocShop.com allows clients to publish articles directly on the website. Using the DocShop Article Syndicator, clients listed in DocShop’s medical directory are now able to publish content to the Patient Education and News & Features section of the website, reaching a large and ever-growing audience of healthcare consumers.

With the new Article Syndicator, doctors will benefit from the authority and visibility that DocShop has built over more than a decade online. New DocShop articles typically rank well on the major search engines quickly. Doctors wishing to inform patients about new procedures and techniques can now publish to a powerful platform that immediately reaches a much wider patient audience than their personal or practice websites.

Each piece on DocShop’s Article Syndicator can include biographical information and a credit to the author, giving doctors an effective way to overcome the growing challenge of protecting and managing their online reputations. “Positive results for your name and your business are a surefire way to displace negative results on the search engines,” says Ted Ricasa, president & COO of Einstein Industries, Inc. “Negative commentary can come from competitors, patients…anyone publishing online.” Einstein Industries contends that positive content on a powerful website such as DocShop.com makes it much less likely that negative results will rank prominently.

DocShop’s Article Syndicator allows doctors to link to their practice websites from each article. Links from reputable, authoritative websites are critical to helping websites rank higher in the search engines. “As online marketing becomes more competitive, gaining white hat links from powerful sites such as DocShop is becoming increasingly difficult,” says Ricasa. A ‘white hat’ link is an industry term used to describe a link from a website that follows the guidelines established by the major search engines.

Each article approved by and published on DocShop.com will be accompanied by a form that allows readers to easily contact the article’s author. All emails sent from potential patients to doctors will include information that makes it easy for doctors to track which patients responded to which article. The service is free, and all active DocShop clients are eligible to contribute articles. Minimum requirements for publishing within DocShop include submission of original content, a non-promotional, unbiased perspective, and a specific word count range per article.

Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani

I have been an Einstein customer since the late 90s and it’s revolutionized my practice as far as the exposure and the website has been profoundly successful. Currently we have a short video clip on our website. I’ve got a lot of positive feedback from that. People are feeling more comfortable coming in having seen that and seeing me as a little more personable. So doing the whole video website was really the next step to go.

Currently we have two sites that Einstein has built for us and is search engine optimizing and really the Internet has taken over where we get most of our patients, other than word of mouth, then it’s the Internet… The websites are so easy to navigate, they’re informative, and it’s really boosted our business exponentially. We just can’t put a number on it. We get multiple comments with patients saying that the website has been very informative, very easy to navigate and very helpful in their decision making process. And the video, I think, will only enhance that down the road—where people can actually almost interact one-on-one with the physician.
